HOCIC IS HIRING !!

HOCIC is a Non-governmental Organization focusing on children and youths living in different circumstances and other vulnerable groups in the society who include women, people living with disabilities and people living with HIV. HOCIC is currently looking for suitable candidates to fill in the following posts:

1 Stores Assistant Intern (X 1)

Responsibilities and duties will include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Ensure store compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Develop and arrange promotional material and in-store displays.
  • Prepare detailed reports on buying trends,
  • Undertake store administration duties such as managing store budgets and updating financial records.
  • Monitor inventory levels and order new items.

Knowledge and skills

  • Excellent computer skills with experience in software packages such as SPSS, Ms Word, Power Point, Database & Ms Excel.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, analytical skills and reporting skills
  • Experience in working with a local NGO will be an added advantage.

Qualifications
Diploma or Degree in Business Administration, Stores Management or any relevant degree. Clean Class 4 Driver’s Licence

Experience: 
Minimum 3 years of proven experience working in a stores environment, ideally in an NGO environment.

2 Procurement intern (X 1)

Responsibilities and duties will include, but are not limited to the following:

Concluding purchases, maintaining positive supplier relations, evaluating supply options, approving purchases, and maintaining accurate records.

Knowledge and skills

  • Excellent computer skills with experience in software packages such as SPSS, Ms Word, Power Point, Database & Ms Excel. 
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, analytical skills and reporting skills

    Qualifications: 

Currently studying for a diploma or degree in Purchasing and supply, Business Administration or any relevant Degree.

3 Programs intern (X 1)

Responsibilities and duties will include, but are not limited to the following:

Taking lead in farming, aquaculture, and poultry, maintaining positive relations with the stakeholders and maintaining accurate records.

Knowledge and skills

  • Excellent computer skills with experience in software packages such as SPSS, Ms Word, Power Point, Database & Ms Excel. 
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, analytical skills and reporting skills

    Qualifications: 

Currently studying for a diploma or degree in Agriculture or any relevant Degree
